In many powder-handling processes, operators must manually feed materials into equipment whose inlets are positioned at a high level. This often requires climbing a stepladder while lifting heavy containers—an operation that is physically demanding and carries safety risks.
To solve this issue, we have developed a screw feeder equipped with a vertical lifting mechanism that enables automatic feeding into high-position inlets.
Designed for Equipment with a 1700 mm Inlet Height
In this project, the next-process equipment had its material inlet located 1700 mm above floor level.
To match this, the screw feeder was designed so that its discharge port reaches 1800 mm when the lifting mechanism is fully raised.
With the integrated lifter, the feeder body moves vertically and aligns precisely with the required inlet height, enabling fully automatic feeding.
The feeding capacity of this model is 150 kg/h, providing stable and consistent supply performance suitable for a wide range of production environments.
Eliminating Manual Feeding and Stepladder Work
Previously, operators had to climb a stepladder and manually lift containers for feeding.
With this new system, the following improvements were achieved:
・Elimination of stepladder work
・Reduced physical burden on operators
・Improved workplace safety
・Stable and consistent feeding volume
For facilities aiming to improve standardization and safety, this solution offers significant benefits.
Customizable to Meet On-Site Requirements
Our screw feeders can be customized to match specific site conditions, including:
・Feeding height
・Feeding rate (screw diameter and rotation speed)
・Hopper capacity
・Lifting stroke
