Case study:Achieving Emulsification in 10 Minutes: Lab-Scale Bottle Shaker for 200mL

Containers – No Impellers Required

We successfully demonstrated stable emulsification of water and oil in just 10 minutes using our compact bottle shaker-type disperser, designed for use with 200mL small-capacity containers.

Unlike conventional mixers, this equipment does not use any impellers. Instead, it applies high-speed shaking motion to the entire container, generating strong shear forces that allow for uniform and reproducible emulsification—even in formulations without surfactants.

Compatible with Standard Commercial Bottles

One of the key features of this disperser is its compatibility with off-the-shelf screw-cap bottles (e.g., glass or plastic). There is no need for special containers, and bottle exchange and cleaning are quick and easy—ideal for multiple sample evaluations in laboratory environments.

This lab-scale process equipment is optimized for R&D applications, especially where small sample volumes and rapid iteration are required.

Installed Worldwide – Supporting Global R&D Needs

Our compact disperser has already been adopted by research institutes and startup companies across Europe, North America, and Asia. It has received positive feedback in the following use cases:

・Emulsification testing with or without surfactants
・Uniform dispersion of nano-materials and additives in small volumes
・Pre-formulation screening in cosmetics and pharmaceutical R&D
・Pre-mixing of high-viscosity liquids

Key Features

・Impeller-free design – no direct contact with the liquid
・Accepts 50-1000mL commercial screw-cap bottles
・High-speed shaking provides strong and consistent shear force
・Easy bottle replacement and cleaning
・Compact design – suitable for cleanroom installation
・Precise control of shaking parameters (speed, time, etc.)

Demo Testing & Global Support Available

This equipment is ideal not only for emulsifying immiscible liquids like water and oil, but also for suspending powders, mixing pastes, and more. With a growing number of international installations, we offer English documentation and remote demo sessions upon request.
